About this seminar:
The objective of this session on Doing Business in Argentina is to give the participant tools to understand the fundamentals of the Argentine culture and how it affects local behavior and work styles.
It will give him/her insight as to how the values of the Argentine people impact business interactions, in order to expedite completion of assignment objectives in the new environment.
It explains why Argentines act, think and work the way they do and offers tips to managers from other cultures as to how to motivate and work with them in order to build effective and productive relationships.

Our Guest Speaker / Presenter
The Online Seminar guest presenter is Lorraine Sandford.
Lorraine is a multi-cultural and multi-national trainer and consultant. She presently coordinates and facilitates international programs for Prudential Intercultural, Berlitz, Cultural Awareness International, QED Consulting, Dean Foster Associates, RW3 Culture Wizard and other global corporations, covering cross-cultural analysis and intercultural business issues related to life in Latin American countries and in the USA.
She has co-designed and delivered intercultural and diversity workshops for international companies, encouraging teamwork among diverse and multi-cultural employees and identifying local issues and needs.
Born in Argentina and being the daughter of expatriates, she spent her childhood and youth in Chile, England, USA and Argentina and continued to travel after marrying an international banker. She holds a degree in Cambridge O and A Levels, covered the Argentine Baccalaureate syllabus, has a College degree in Occupational Therapy, a background in Psychology and in Education and is at present a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst and Intercultural Trainer.
Prior to working with executive relocations, Lorraine worked at St Charles’ and St Mary’s Hospital in London as a therapist and later began her teaching and training career in 1982 dedicating 10 years to business training with Ott College in Buenos Aires, where she was the Academic Head and Coordinator of Training.
