Mr. Mark Norcliffe
After a 20-year career in international transportation and trading, Mark first became involved with China’s nascent automotive industry in 1996. As Head of International Business at SMMT – the trade association for all sectors of the UK automotive industry – and latterly as a specialist Business Adviser to UK Trade & Investment, he has supported many UK-based automotive companies in developing successful business partnerships in China.
Mark is now the Senior Partner at The Dragon Partnership – a bespoke consultancy specialising in business advice and information on the Chinese market – and also Managing Director at TheSourcingSolutions Ltd, who provide full support services to companies wishing to source high quality automotive, medical and engineering products from China.
Mark speaks and writes regularly on the automotive industry in China, and is a frequent visitor to the country. He holds an MA from the University of Oxford.
