Kevin Zhou joined CIGNA & CMC Life Insurance Company Limited in August 2009, as Regional Vice President – Global Health Benefits. In this position, Kevin has been instrumental in executing distribution strategy for high-end medical insurance, developing new product, building sales organization, and generating business opportunities to ensure the company achieve the aggressive growth targets in China.
Kevin came from a global leading benefits consulting firm where he was a regional practice leader of the Health & Benefits business, helping grow the business substantially during his tenure and build up the largest employee benefits broking team in the market with presence in key strategic locations across China. Prior to that, Kevin held sales & marketing and management positions with leading foreign insurers with exposure in both Group and Individual insurance business. Over the years, Kevin has accumulated extensive professional experience in employer-sponsored insurance benefits and deep knowledge of China healthcare market.
Kevin obtained his MBA from Schulich School of Business, York University in Canada and is a US CPA (Illinois) certificate holder. He also holds the designation of FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute of LOMA) with distinction.
MICHELLE COLONA
Vice President, National Accounts
Michelle Colona is the Vice President of National Accounts, for CIGNA International. Based in Houston, Texas, Michelle is responsible for national accounts for North America. Michelle is also responsible for North America sourced business for CIGNA International’s China branch. Prior to becoming the Vice President of National Accounts, Michelle acted as the Regional Vice President of Sales for CIGNA International’s western region.
Michelle has extensive experience and expertise in the group insurance industry, specifically in international health care benefits. For more than two decades, she has been creating solutions for multinational employers and their intermediaries to provide global healthcare, disability, life and accident, and travel medical plans for globally mobile employees and international business travelers. Her cost-effective benefit strategies successfully meet both employers’ and employees’ needs.
Michelle has supplemented her international health care knowledge with travel to Europe, India, China and various countries throughout the Pacific Rim. She has earned Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and is a frequent participant in National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC) conferences. She instructs Academy by CIGNA Continuing Education courses throughout the Houston area and is regularly sought out by producer, consulting, and employer communities to share her knowledge and insight regarding international health care critical issues, concerns, and related topics. Michelle began her sales career with CIGNA HealthCare in Washington, D.C. after graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources. ANTHONY HIDELL

Anthony Hidell joined CIGNA & CMC Life Insurance Co. Ltd. in September 2011 as Sales Director, Global Health Benefits – China. In this position, Anthony has been instrumental in the expanding distribution among boutique broker partners and knowledge transfer to the local market. Anthony came from Cigna Global Health Benefits – USA (formerly CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits) where he began his career in June 2007 as a New Business Manager.
In his former role, Anthony specialized in consultative services for multinational employers seeking solutions for international benefits coverage in the Chicago (’08-’09) and Dallas (’09-’11) offices while managing seven states in the Midwest. He was awarded CIGNA International Rookie of the Year Honors in 2008 and Gold Circle Honors in 2009 for Outstanding Sales Performance. He maintains a Life, Accident & Health Producer license in the USA and has achieved a Certificate in Global Benefits Management from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). Anthony was educated at Washington College in Maryland where he gained a BA in Economics and Political Science and was a Hansard Scholar.
