J.D. Power Asia Pacific

Mr. Lam is Senior Market Analyst for India, J D Power Asia Pacific Forecasting, Bangkok. Darius joined the Strategic Advisory Group in April this year and tracks, analyzes and forecasts the Indian and South Korean automotive markets.

Prior to joining J D Power and Associates, he was Assistant Editor for Autocar Professional, which is the leading automotive industry B2B magazine in the Indian market. It is part of the Haymarket Media Group, which is a leading UK based publisher of automotive magazines.

At Autocar Professional, Darius was part of the senior management team and responsible for setting the editorial policy and running the daily operations of the magazine. As such he also wrote and edited articles covering a range of topics including OEM and component company profiles, industry analysis and sector reports.

Prior to this assignment he tracked the Indian automotive market for a Mumbai based equity research firm called Alchemy and currently has a cumulative experience of over 15 years in the Indian automotive market.

He has done his MBA from Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, which is a leading college for management studies in India and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
