Leo Torres

Director, Purchasing – Ford Mexico

Leo Torres is a Mechanical Engineer graduated from the ITESM with an MBA in ITESM, Leo Torres is Ford of Mexico Purchasing, STA Y MP&L Director, after more that 15 years of experience, among others, as Manufacturing Manager and later as Purchasing Manager in Volkswagen, Leo was integrated into Ford in July 1999 as Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance and Transportation Director for our three Plants in Mexico and our Corporate Office, Leo has an extensive experience in Purchasing and Manufacturing too among others. In June 2002, Leo became Purchasing Director for the CD/D Platforms in Ford US (Ford Fusion, Mylan, Five Hundred, etc.), position held by him until May 2005, returning to Ford of Mexico as Purchasing, STA, Transportation & MP&L Director for our three Plants in Mexico and our Corporate Office (his actual position)
